1960 by german Wenzel Rulf and his son Gunther Wolfran Rulf. The fabric was built in Porto União - SC. At first it only produced typically european drinks like Enzi Bitter, Rum, Captown and Koen Aquavit. The distillery eventually began to produce Steinhaeger in '62 and Vodka in '77.
The company emerged as a market leader in the Steinhager branch in Brazil and has accomplished success nationally and abroad. In 2001 the distillery received a Beverage Testing Institute Certificate in Chicago - Illinois - USA that considers our Steinhager as a highly recommended product - scoring 89 in a 0 to 100 points scale.
